Former WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury got the job done in his tuneup fight against Mariusz Wach, scoring a seventh-round stoppage Friday in Pattaya, Thailand.
Fury coasted through the fight before Wach's corner called it off after the seventh round.
"The Gypsy King" is one step closer to a long-awaited megafight with former champion Anthony Joshua, who faces Kristian Prenga on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury and Joshua have signed a deal to square off later in 2026, though Joshua needs to get past Prenga first.
Fury is now 2-0 since coming out of retirement earlier this year. The 37-year-old Englishman scored a unanimous decision win over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April in London, rebounding from back-to-back losses against former undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Wach, a 46-year-old from Poland, fell to 39-14 as a professional boxer.
The bout between Fury and Wach wasn't televised and took place in front of about 1,500 spectators, according to ESPN's James Regan.
