Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer exited Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins in the third inning after getting hit on the same foot where he fractured his toe in April.
Springer was replaced by Jesus Sánchez after hobbling off the field with trainers.

X-rays didn't show any new damage to his left foot or his fractured left big toe, manager John Schneider said following the Blue Jays' 11-4 win.
"It's not any worse than it was," Schneider said, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. "It went right off that guard he has on his spikes, thankfully. You probably saw him just laughing as he was sitting there on the ground. We'll see how he is. I love that the X-rays are negative and there's not anything else going on with his toe."
Schneider noted that Springer was already scheduled to have a day off Sunday before Saturday's scare.
"We'll see how he is throughout the day tomorrow and on Monday," he said, according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi.
Springer had just returned Wednesday after missing more than two weeks with the toe injury.
The 36-year-old entered Saturday hitting .215/.301/.369 with two home runs and seven RBIs. He had registered at least one hit in every game since his return.
