Tommy McMillen entered the history books with a dominant performance at UFC Oklahoma City on Saturday night.

The rising featherweight star set a new record for the most significant strikes landed in a three-round UFC bout, landing 252 in his third-round TKO win over Alberto Montes, according to UFC research analyst Michael Carroll.

Nate Diaz held the previous record for nearly a decade and a half. He landed 238 significant strikes in a win against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC 141 in December 2011.

The undefeated McMillen, who broke out in the MMA world with a win on Dana White's Contender Series in 2025, improved to 2-0 in the UFC and 11-0 as a professional.
