Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is active for Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys, making his return after missing two games with a hamstring injury.
Barkley, who was listed as questionable for the contest, told ESPN's Lisa Salters earlier Monday that he felt good enough to play in the NFC East matchup but wanted to be smart about his return.
The veteran was a limited participant in Thursday's and Friday's practices before being upgraded to a full participant on Saturday.
Barkley suffered the injury in the first quarter of Philadelphia's Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and hasn't played since. He's recorded just 182 yards on 36 carries and has already battled multiple injuries this season.
Meanwhile, the Eagles will be without wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks against the Cowboys due to injuries. However, guard Landon Dickerson is set to return from a knee injury after being activated off injured reserve.
