NFL's Packers, NHL's Jets among teams joking about signing LeBron

NBA star LeBron James informed the Los Angeles Lakers that he will play an unprecedented 24th season with a new team, and it looks like he won't lack options for where to sign.

The four-time league MVP instructed his agent, Rich Paul, to gauge interest from across the NBA before coming back to him with options before making his free-agency decision, a source told ESPN's Dave McMenamin. Shortly after, teams from various leagues beyond the NBA took to social media to make their cases to entice the future Hall of Famer to join their respective rosters.
