San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama won the Magic Johnson Trophy on Saturday as the Most Valuable Player of the Western Conference finals.

Wembanyama received all nine votes from the panel of media members.

The Frenchman averaged 27.3 points, 10.9 boards, 3.1 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 1.4 steals across the seven-game series.

He's the first player in NBA history to register at least 15 threes and 15 blocks in a playoff series, according to ESPN Insights.

The 22-year-old joins Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as the only winners of the award since its introduction in 2022.

After he was presented with the trophy, Wembanyama made it clear that he's got his eyes on a bigger prize.

San Antonio will host the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The two teams squared off in the 1999 championship series, with the Spurs prevailing in five games.
