San Jose Sharks captain Macklin Celebrini was a late scratch in Monday's 5-0 loss to the Dallas Stars due to a lower-body injury, the team announced.
Celebrini was on the ice for pregame warmups but left early. It's unclear how he sustained the injury.

Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said postgame that Celebrini is still being evaluated and the team expects to know more in the coming days.
The 20-year-old Celebrini has posted five assists in two games this season. He finished fourth in Hart Trophy voting last season after racking up 115 points in 82 games as a sophomore.
Ty Dellandrea entered the lineup for Celebrini, while Alexander Wennberg took the captain's place centering the first line.
