Anaheim Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier sustained an upper-body injury in Saturday's game against the Calgary Flames and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
Gauthier logged just five shifts before departing. It's unclear how the injury occurred.
The 22-year-old led the Ducks in goals (41) and points (69) last season. He's tallied four points in five games to start the 2026-27 campaign.
The Ducks signed Gauthier to a six-year, $81-million contract in September.
