The potential end of LIV Golf might be starting to sink in for Bryson DeChambeau.
DeChambeau posted a series of photos on Instagram from his time with LIV captioned: "It was a good run."
The future of LIV Golf is in question following Sunday's season finale in Indianapolis - which was supposed to be the penultimate event of the season before the originally scheduled season finale in Michigan was canceled.
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund - LIV Golf's main investor since its inception in 2021 - announced in April that it would stop backing the league at the end of the season. LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil said earlier this month that the league secured funding from an unidentified investor that will help it survive beyond this campaign, but whether it's enough funding to retain star players remains to be seen.
DeChambeau, who's on an expiring contract, said Friday that he's hopeful LIV gets "one more shot" to succeed.
The 32-year-old was among LIV's first high-profile acquisitions in 2022. He's been a staunch supporter of the rival circuit, and even passed up an opportunity to rejoin the PGA TOUR earlier this year.
DeChambeau's won five tournaments in his LIV career, second only to Joaquin Niemann's nine. DeChambeau's Crushers GC won the team championship in 2023.
